After a tiring day, after continuous 12 hours of work we used to sit together and enjoy the little time that we used to get in the evenings and one of my junior used to sing this song for us on demand. Another girl used to join him and they used to sing this song with vocal effects.. Such a soothing times those were. E sundara beladingala, E thampina angaladali...... This song is from the movie Amruthavarsini (1997). I was 7 year old when this movie was released and I still clearly remember watching this movie in an old theater in our village. I became fascinated with the songs of this film from a very young age. But appreciated the lyrics very much later. I had non-Kannadiga friends in my college who were crazy about the songs from this movie and hence I had to translate each and every word of all of songs. With that process I myself got absorbed in the beauty of the words. Hats off to K Kalyan and Dev duo for such a wonderful album. The songs become amazing with SPB and Chitra voice...
